We wanted to send you a note about our experience with Alaskan Dream Cruises. It was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. Transfer of luggage and travel to/from the airport, motel and boat went smoothly. All the crew and employees of ADC were knowledgeable about Alaska, the specific areas, animals, plants and the boat. They were professional, and made you feel very welcome. Most of the crew we interacted with knew our names by day 2. We don’t think they knew the words “no we can’t do that”. The accommodations were spotless and comfortable. The toilet/shower combination would be cramped for a large person. Food was wonderful with normally 2 main course choices for lunch/dinner. The chef prepared separate meals for people with dietary needs. Everything was freshly made. The seafood was exceptional. We never went hungry.

The excursions were great, kayaking, hikes, RTV trails, rides on an inflatable boat to get up close to nature. We visited many sites that were unavailable to large cruise ships. There were normally 2 excursions a day. We were up and off the boat by 8:30, back for lunch, off after lunch and back around 5. Every night there was a presentation about what we’d seen, going to see or the Alaskan way of life. Excursions weren’t mandatory. You could stay on the boat and even hang out with the captain or whoever was on the bridge. We saw lots of whales (up close), Orca, black/brown bears (up close), eagles, moose, etc. Since the boat was small we were able to get within a 1/4 mile of the tidal glaciers. Also, learned about the culture/history of the Native Americans and Alaskan people.

We had an amazing time and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for something more personal. Worth the price. Thank you for helping us.
